Heritage Center Hours:
Exhibit galleries and Museum Store:
8am - 5pm M-F; Sat. & Sun. 10am - 5pm.
The Heritage Center, including exhibit galleries, is closed on New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

State Archives and Historical Research Library:
8am - 4:30pm., M-F, except legal holidays, and 2nd Sat. of each month 10am - 4:30 pm.

State Historical Society offices:
8am - 5pm M-F, except legal holidays.

Dakota dino mummy feature exhibit Dakota - Dino Mummy
On exhibit at the Heritage Center, the duckbilled dinosaur, Dakota. “This duckbill’s skin is remarkably preserved, making Dakota one of the most scientifically important dinosaurs ever found,” said State Paleontologist Dr. John Hoganson.
