Public Notice of Reduced Services in Museum Division:

Due to current and future construction work at the ND Heritage Center, access to museum work spaces and artifact storage areas will be extremely limited.

If you wish to view or research an artifact collection, the SHSND Museum requests you contact us to schedule an appointment. Please be aware that viewing and researching artifacts requires large amounts of work space and collections storage access, neither which will be available until early 2012.

The Society may identify an item and provide interpretation. However, we can not provide an appraisal of the value of the item. Your question will be e-mailed directly to the museum staff.   You will receive a response within 30 days.

State Archives: 8am - 4:30pm., M-F, except legal holidays, and 2nd Sat. of each month, 10am - 4:30 pm.
State Historical Society offices: 8am - 5pm M-F, except legal holidays.
