FORT BUFORD--The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center will be hosting several events in October. All of the events are free and open to the public.
October 9
Meet other history buffs in an interesting discussion of the month’s selected book. The Fort Buford History Book Club gathers at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Center, 7 p.m. CDT. Please call in advance if you will be joining us.
October 17-18
Join the Confluence Quilters for their monthly meeting from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. CDT. Quilters of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate.
October 18
Fort Buford Cemetery Walk, 6:30- 9 p.m. CT. Tours of the cemetery and ghost stories at the Confluence Center.
October 19
Concert at the Confluence, 3 p.m., featuring Pella Flutes and Renata, a female singing group from Fairview, overlooking one of North Dakota's most beautiful natural sights.
The Missouri Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is located 22 miles southwest of Williston at Fort Buford. Hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday from 1-5 p.m., Closed Monday and Tuesday. Fort Buford is closed for the season and tours are by appointment only.
