The public is invited to a Hay Ride and Pie Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, at the Chateau de Mores State Historic Site.
Visitors will be treated to free old-fashioned horse-drawn hay rides in the scenic badlands. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. In addition to hay rides, visitors can enjoy a piece of pie in the Chateau de Mores Interpretive Center for a freewill offering. Coffee and cocoa will be provided.
The day’s activities are open to the public and sponsored by Friends of the Chateau de Mores.
