The Life of Antoine Gingras
Permanent exhibit
Métis fur trader Antoine Blac Gingras (1821-1877) lived through a unique era in the Pembina region of North Dakota. This exhibit follows his life and explores the Red River fur trade, early territorial politics, and the vibrant Métis culture. Many objects found during archeological work and historic restoration of the site are on display.
