Exhibits - Traveling Interpretive Exhibits (TIES)

blue triangle content image

The State Historical Society of North Dakota develops traveling exhibits that are available for circulation to libraries, school, museums, and other nonprofit educational institutions. Exhibits cover a range of topics related to North Dakota. Exhibits are available on a first-come, first-serve basis so it is best to make requests early. Each exhibit is generally available for eight weeks at a time. This includes a six week installation with an additional two weeks to allow for shipping, installation, de-installation, and return shipping. Extensions may be accommodated only if they do not interfere with other reservations. Host institutions pay a small fee and shipping charges, and must meet certain security and facility requirements.
