Abstract: Series consists of correspondence, memoranda, reports, audits, plans, publications, and actuarial reports, and correspondence of the Highway Patrolmen's Retirement Fund. Also contains information concerning agency committees, meetings, press releases created and distributed by the department, information relating to the agency’s involvement with the accreditation process, agreements with the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), assessment team reports, agency profile, accreditation reports, and other documentation from the agency’s initial accreditation in 1989, information and correspondence regarding security for the Governor, various reports, studies, etc., regarding the agency’s activities, and correspondence and subject material relating directly to the Highway Patrol and its eight district offices.
