Abstract: The collection consists of church record books providing rosters of pastors, church committees, membership, minutes of church organizations, baptisms, confirmations, marriages, deaths, worship attendance, and records of contributions. Includes consolidated churches of Eigenheim, Bethlehem, Ebenezer, and the Harvey German Congregational Church. Most early records are written in the German language. **** NOTE: Several of the ledgers contain death certificates.

Provenance: The State Historical Society of North Dakota acquired the collection in March 2009 from Verna Weisser of the First Congressional Church of Harvey. The inventory was prepared by Emily Ergen in September 2009.
