Spanish-American War to present, 1898-1999

Records of the last 75 years are restricted to use by the individual or next of kin if the individual is deceased. Other requesters will need a release authorization signed by the veteran or next of kin. Discharge papers also provide some basic information: age, date of birth, education, duty status, decorations and awards, duty assignments, marital status, rank/grade, serial/service number, promotion sequence.
