Fort Buford - Events

Fort Buford Reenactors and cannon

Events at Fort Buford and the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center (MYCIC) are not seperated by venues. Many of the events occur at both locations so are listed together. Both sites are within walking distance of each other.

The next events of the 2008 year are listed below, by date and event.

History Book Club
Join author Carla Kelly at the monthly meeting of the Fort Buford History Book Club as she discusses the selection for the month, Kelly's "Here's to the Ladies: Stories of the Frontier Army."

Concert at the Confluence
The City of Regina Pipe Band has been part of the North American pipe band scene since 1992. The band is Saskatchewan's only Grade 2 level competition band, and is well-known for its competition success, concerts and community events, and for teaching others to play pipes and drums.  The Concert at the Confluence event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Easter Egg Hunt
Set the kids loose on a wild Easter Egg Hunt at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center.

8 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily from May 16 - September 15.
September 16 - May 15, weekdays by appointment.
